1/32 Scale World Headquarters


Matchbox


       Matchbox made six excellent WWII sets, consisting of American Infantry, British Infantry, German Infantry, British 8th Army, German Afrika Korps, and British Commandos. They have excellent sculpting, and feature many poses missed by other companies such as Airfix –– most notably the heavy machine gunner with tripod included in several of the sets. Between the excellent sculpting, detail, and usually more than 10 poses each for their sets, as well as the fact that they had much smaller distribution than Airfix or Marx, these figures are very sought after by collectors.
