When young Biff Brewster comes with his father to an oil town in the vast Arabian desert he does not expect to find himself braving a sandstorm and almost total exhaustion in quest for a golden stallion.

       The disappearance of the horse is only the first link in a chain of dramatic events which lead eventually to a mystery of much greater significance.
