The Tom Corbett books were originally published as a turquoise weave pattern hardback with blue
topstain on the page edges, and full-color wrap-around dust jackets. The jackets often featured a plot summary for that
particular title or a list of Tom Corbett books on the front flap, and advertisements for other series' on the rear flap and back of
the dust jacket. The spine

featured a brightly colored
Polaris space ship logo for easy identification on bookshelves. Some time during the 1950s,
the books were reprinted with more of a navy colored weave binding instead of the original turquoise, but remained the same
otherwise. In about 1962, all eight volumes were reprinted without dust jacket, but instead having the art printed directly onto
the cover. These picture cover bindings retained the same wrap around spine as before, but the rear panel now featured an
odd purple-pink colored advertisement for the Tom Corbett books with a list of the titles available. Throughout the life of the
series, the books had endpapers with navy blue art signed by Doskow. These were the same in the front and rear of the book,
and showed a space ship flying over rocky terrain, and the
Polaris logo in the bottom right corner.
