The Books for Sale section has been overhauled to reflect our current inventory, to give the appropriate pages full justification, remove broken counters, add titles to the Tom Swift Jr. section, and remove empty sections such as Dave Dawson and Yankee Flier. The Links section now has 32 links, including new links to Hardy-Boys.com and Bridgeboro.com. The main pages on this also site now reflect the current year.

The fifth 800 x 600 resolution .bmp image –– this one featuring a scene from Tom Swift and His Polar-Ray Dynasphere –– suitable for use as Windows desktop wallpaper has been added to the Downloads section today. Additionally, a page containing a photo of the cover and plot summary from the Italian edition of volume #33 has been added to the Tom Swift Jr. section.

The Tom Swift Jr. section has been updated to include a page for the Swedish edition of volume #1 complete with images of the cover and frontispiece as well as the original advertising text. The Downloads section also now reflects the current year and includes a 800 x 600 resolution color rendering of Swift Enterprises suitable for use as Windows desktop wallpaper.

The Tom Swift Jr. section has been updated to reflect the new year and to add lists of titles published in Italy, Japan, Spain, and Sweden to the list of books today. Additionally there are newly available pages for the Danish edition of volume #1, the Dutch editions of volumes #1 and #2, the British edition of volume #32, the Norwegian editions of volumes #2, #4, and #9, and the Spanish edition of volume #5.

The Lone Ranger section has been completely overhauled, including an improved logo and text on the main page, fully justified text throughout, fewer horizontal rules, and everything now reflects the current year of 2005. The Grosset & Dunlap editions of volumes #2, #5, #12, #15, and #18 now have plot summaries. Volumes #2, #5, #15 and #18 now have cover photos, and those for volumes #8, #9, #11, #12, #13, and #14 have been replaced by better quality examples. Volumes #5, and #14 now have photos of the frontispieces –– all others have had theirs remastered. Brand new listings on the list of books page include the Pinnacle paperback editions and foreign editions from Argentina, England, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The Connie Blair section has been upgraded today with fully justified text throughout, fewer horizontal rules, fixed alt text, an improved main page with new link descriptions and icons, and also the current year of 2004. The List of Books has been changed to give all the tables a uniform width, as well as to add both Tempo paperback series and the Danish and Swedish editions. The frontispieces from the Grosset & Dunlap editions of volumes #6 through #12 have been given a uniform width, and there is now a picture of the cover for volume #9. Additionally, there are now pages for the Norwegian editions of volumes #1, #2, #4, #5, #6, #8, #9, and #11.

The Biff Brewster section has been completely overhauled, including an improved logo and text on the main page, fully justified text throughout, and an About the Series section with author biographies, formats, characters, and more. The American editions pages now have remastered frontispieces, new cover photos for volumes #6 and #12, fewer horizontal rules, and they reflect the current year of 2004. There are also listings for the Dutch and Swedish editions in the List of Books, with pages for the Dutch edition of volume #2, the Swedish editions of #1 and #2, and the Norwegian editions of #1, #2, #3, and #7 as well.

July 18, 2004 ––

Seven new foreign editions have been added to the Tom Swift Jr. section. These include the Danish editions of volumes #3 and #4, the Dutch / Belgian editions of volumes #1 and #23, the Finnish edition of volume #1, the French edition of volume #10, and the Norwegian edition of volume #7. In addition, the List of Titles has been updated to include the original American titles for foreign language editions, and to make the columns a little neater.

The Christopher Cool section has been revamped today with fully justified text, fewer horizontal rules, fixed alt text, an improved main page with new link descriptions and icons, and also the current year of 2004. Pages for the Danish edition of volume #2, Swedish editions of volumes #3, #4, #5, and #6, as well as all six of the French editions are also linked from the updated List of Books.

The fifteenth chapter of Tom Swift and the Galaxy Ghosts is now available for reading, and is linked from the table of contents. Additionally, the final Tom Swift Jr. volumes #25 through #33 and British editions #27 and #29 have had their summaries fully justified, and some horizontal rules removed. The frontispieces for volumes #25, #26, #27, #30, #32, and #33 have also had their widths trimmed or widened to fit in the allotted space, but with no loss in subject matter.

The Tom Corbett section has been updated to remove several horizontal rules, justify all text, reflect the year 2004, and fix alt text problems. Additionally, frontispieces for volumes #6 and #7 have been digitally remastered, and a brand new articles section has been created containing Jet Sparks and New Kid. And of course the main page now has better link descriptions, and the list of books is now a uniform width.

Fans of the Mercer Boys series finally have a chance to finish off their sets now! We listed the last four books in the series for sale on eBay tonight, and you can see them all by clicking here. Two of the books have their original dust jackets, and three are first editions. It may be a very long time before anyone has these for sale again, so go bid now!

All pages on the site that are not series specific have had the text fully justified and the non-working counters removed. The index page has been given new descriptions for all the links, and a few horizontal rules have been deleted. The Rick Brant index page has received new link descriptions with icons, all pages in that section now have fully justified text, the books have had a number of horizontal rules deleted and frontispieces narrowed, the list of books has had the tables widened for a uniform look, and there is an entirely new page for Rick Brant's Science Projects.

The Series Bookcase has been given its first award, which is posted on the Awards page. Minor corrections to the About the Series section of the Tom Corbett site have been made, including some typos and mistaken headings. Besides fixing the alt text issues and updating to 2004 on the Rick Brant section, we now have cover photos available for volumes #4, #8, and #11. Also, there are entirely new pages for volume #21, the reprint edition of volume #22, and Dutch editions of The Rocket's Shadow and The Lost City.

All updates today are to the Tom Swift Jr. section, including a cover photo for volume #11 and a page for volume #33 complete with plot summary, cover and frontispiece images. Additionally, the other Tom Swift Jr. pages have had their frontispieces digitally remastered for better quality and smaller file size, the illustrators have been credited on each title page, problems with alt text on Internet Explorer have been fixed, and of course the pages now reflect 2004 as the current year.

Spindrift Scientific Foundation, the Rick Brant section, premiered today. The completed About the Series section for Tom Corbett is available, with biographies and photos of the technical adviser and illustrator, as well as information about the Tom Corbett universe and book formats. The list of books pages for all our series have been given a bit more space for easier viewing, and a handy "Buy!" link has been added to those titles we have for sale.

November 1, 2003 ––

A previously unnoticed problem with alt text on images viewed with Internet Explorer has been fixed on all the general pages on this site. Six spine images of the series on the main page have been given an improved look, including Tom Swift Jr., Biff Brewster, and Tom Corbett. The Books For Sale section has received some improvements, such as the removal of the "new" designation on books that have been listed more than two weeks and a handy "order now" button for each series. Several sold items including the Tom Corbett and Steve Knight sets have been removed, and postage increases are now reflected on the Ordering Information page. The Cherry Ames site, Spencer Club premiered today, as well as Federal Airlines, the new Vicki Barr section.

A link to the Hardy Detective Agency was added to the Links section. For Ken Holt, you'll find the cover art photos have been replaced for volumes #7 and #15, and cover art photos are now available for volumes #4, #5, #9, #11, and #12. Dutch edition titles were added to Tom Swift Jr., and the plot summary for volume #8 is now available. The remainder of the books in our Store section have been discounted (some by as much as 80%!), and some new books have been listed for sale as well. And finally, we proudly present the new Steve Knight section, Mano del Diablo!

A link to Forlagshuset was added to the Links section. Norwegian edition titles were added to Biff Brewster, and Tom Corbett. Approximately half our inventory has been greatly discounted in the Store section, and nearly 50 previously unlisted books were added to the new Miscellaneous section there.

The old link image and the Message Board link were removed from all pages as they were frightfully outdated. A few minor changes were also made to the descriptions of the links on the Main Page, as well as the addition of the previously overlooked links to the new Ken Holt and Connie Blair sections. Seth Smolinske's Three Investigators and Jenni Johns' Trixie Belden sites were added to the Links section, bringing the total to 28. The About the Series section for the Christopher Cool site is now complete. The plot summary for Tom Corbett volume #4 is now available. A few pieces of information were added to the List of Books on the Mercer Boys site.

Biff Brewster, Tom Quest, The Lone Ranger, and Tom Swift Jr. all got new buttons in better colors on the Series Bookcase pages. All links in the Links section have been checked –– all non-working ones have been removed, and many new ones have been added. Additionally, the descriptions that tell about features of each site have been rewritten to provide better accuracy. The Christopher Cool section has a new picture and easier to read List of Books on that page, as well as a better layout for the individual book pages. Tom Swift Jr. has been updated with a spiffed up list of titles, as well as some new information about British, German and Icelandic editions of the books. And for the Lone Ranger, we have a new plot summary and the cover art from #17 The Lone Ranger: Trouble on the Santa Fe.

The Books For Sale section has been updated to show newly available books and remove sold books. A number of changes have been made to the Tom Quest section, including easier to read text, a better layout design for the list of books, pictures of the frontispieces for the Grosset & Dunlap books, and photos of some rare Norwegian editions. The Lone Ranger section has had numerous changes such as a new background color that makes for easier reading, a better layout design for the list of books, and new photos of covers and frontispieces for a number of books as well as some British and Norwegian editions of the series.

The Lone Ranger section has been completely overhauled, including an improved logo and text on the main page, fully justified text throughout, fewer horizontal rules, and everything now reflects the current year of 2005. The Grosset & Dunlap editions of volumes #2, #5, #12, #15, and #18 now have plot summaries. Volumes #2, #5, #15 and #18 now have cover photos, and those for volumes #8, #9, #11, #12, #13, and #14 have been replaced by better quality examples. Volumes #5, and #14 now have photos of the frontispieces –– all others have had theirs remastered. Brand new listings on the list of books page include the Pinnacle paperback editions and foreign editions from Argentina, England, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Newly available pages complete with cover photos and (where applicable) illustrations and plot summaries include: Pinnacle editions of volumes #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, and #8, Argentinean editions of volumes #4, #7, and #9, British (Everest) edition of volume #1, Finnish edition of volume #5, Norwegian editions of volumes #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, and #11, and Swedish editions of volumes #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #13, #14, #15, #16, #17, and #18.

The Tom Swift Jr. section has been updated to reflect the new year and to add lists of titles published in Italy, Japan, Spain, and Sweden to the list of books today. Additionally there are newly available pages for the Danish edition of volume #1, the Dutch editions of volumes #1 and #2, the British edition of volume #32, the Norwegian editions of volumes #2, #4, and #9, and the Spanish edition of volume #5.

July 18, 2004 ––

Seven new foreign editions have been added to the Tom Swift Jr. section. These include the Danish editions of volumes #3 and #4, the Dutch / Belgian editions of volumes #1 and #23, the Finnish edition of volume #1, the French edition of volume #10, and the Norwegian edition of volume #7. In addition, the List of Titles has been updated to include the original American titles for foreign language editions, and to make the columns a little neater.
