Jenkins was finally hauled to safety

There was trouble in Black River and that was why the Lone Ranger and Tonto headed that way. But trouble began before they hit town, for the shortest cut was across Devil's Bog––eerie, slimy, filled with treacherous quicksand––and it was here the Ranger found the first clue to the identity of the murderous thieves plotting to rob the express office of a big shipment of gold.

Almost at the moment of the robbery, fate takes the Lone Ranger and his faithful Indian friend to the express office; a shot brings the enraged lawmen to the spot just in time to hear the Ranger's cry of "Hi-Yo Silver, Away-y-y-y." Thus the lawmen are hot on their trail, while the Ranger and Tonto shadow the real robbers. With danger dogging their every step, this is the most thrilling and dangerous of all the exploits of this beloved masked man of mystery. The Lone Ranger and the Gold Robbery is packed with the kind of action and drama that thrills all lovers of true adventure and magnificent courage.
