The Lone Ranger waited patiently
while Tonto applied a fresh bandage

With the splendid daring that has made him famous, the Lone Ranger breaks into a jail and makes off with the prisoner just as a group of infuriated ranchers are about to lynch him. For the Lone Ranger and Tont do not believe young Dave Walters is guilty of the murder of old Ma Prindle.

The task of proving the boy's innocence brings into play all of the Ranger's courage and clever detective work, swift action and fast thinking. For there was Higgy who had something on Dave, and there was the hated gambler Steve delaney who seemed very anxious to get Dave out of the way. Their part in the drama had to be explained before the Lone Ranger and Tonto finally unravelled the odd chan of circumstances that led to Dave's arrest.

Where the Lone Ranger rides there is thrilling, absorbing drama, from the first page through to the last faint echo of his "Hi-Yo, Silver! Away!"
